Frequently Asked Questions

We believe in straight-talking IT support. If you have a question about how our repair process works, our pricing, or how we securely handle your data, you will find the answers below. If you don’t see your specific question, please drop us a message for a free, no-obligation estimate.

Our Repair Process & Collections

It is completely hassle-free. If you are located in the New Ross, Campile, or South Wexford area, we will come directly to your door to pick up your machine. Once the repair is complete and fully tested, we drop it back to you ready to use.

Standard services like system tune-ups, virus removals, and operating system reinstalls are usually completed within 24 to 48 hours. Hardware repairs, such as screen or keyboard replacements, depend on how quickly we can source the correct parts. We will always give you an estimated timeframe along with your fixed quote.

Yes. We repair and upgrade all major brands of Windows laptops and desktop PCs, as well as handle screen replacements for tablets and phones.

Pricing & Payments

We charge a flat, transparent fee for almost all of our standard services and hardware repairs. You will be given a fixed quote before any work begins, meaning you will never be hit with unexpected hourly labour charges if a repair takes longer than anticipated.

If a machine is completely beyond economical repair or parts are obsolete, you will only be charged the standard diagnostic bench fee of €30 (or nothing if agreed upfront). We will never carry out an expensive repair without your prior consent.

You only pay when the job is completely finished and your device is ready to be returned to you. We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and Revolut.

Data, Privacy & Security

Yes, in most cases we need your Windows password or PIN to boot into the operating system, run diagnostic stress-tests, and verify that all hardware is functioning correctly after the repair is complete. Your data is strictly protected under our GDPR-compliant Privacy Policy. If you are still not comfortable handing over you password you can find instructions on how to change it in our Preparing your PC for Repair Guide.

We do not open, view, or delete your personal files unless explicitly required to fulfil a requested data transfer. However, hardware can be unpredictable. While we never wipe a drive without your explicit permission, we highly recommend backing up your important files before handing over any device. If your drive is actively failing, we can offer dedicated data recovery services.

Warranties & Recycling

Absolutely. All repairs come with a 30-day guarantee on our labour. Any brand-new hardware components we install are covered by their respective manufacturer warranties.

As an eco-conscious workshop, we never throw electronic waste into the general bin. Dead parts are either stripped for usable components to support the circular economy or safely processed through certified WEEE Ireland recycling facilities.
